Colby + Johnny, The Estate on Second

Colby and her bridal party arrived at The Estate on Second ready for the big day. The bride wore a lace wedding gown, and her bridesmaids wore lilac dresses in different silhouettes. The girls posed together in the Attic and on the Terrace while the guys suited up to avoid crossing paths since the bride and groom weren’t doing a first look. After the girls finished their photos upstairs, Johnny and his groomsmen posed for group pictures. The two groups made sure the bride and groom didn’t cross paths since they were waiting for the aisle for their first look. Once all the photos were taken, everyone lined up for ceremony downstairs.

Guests arrived through the Veranda and headed into the Crystal Ballroom where greenery and white florals decorated the space. Once everyone was seated, Johnny and his groomsmen made their entrance followed by the bridesmaids and lastly, Colby. The bride and groom finally got their first look and locked eyes. Together at the head of the aisle and in front of all their family and friends, Colby and Johnny recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Guests cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.

Guests enjoyed Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts, Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts, and Chilled Shrimp Skewers while Colby and Johnny snuck away for a few newlywed pictures outside of the venue. The bar was serving up refreshing beverages including the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Skinny Margarita and Hawaiian Mule. Everyone mixed and mingled, then it was time for dinner.

Inside the Crystal Ballroom tables were draped in white linens and topped with floral garlands and candles to match the sweetheart table. Guests checked the seating chart then found their tables. Colby and Johnny made their grand entrance and shared their first dance as husband and wife, then took a seat. Family and friends shared toasts and glasses filled with champagne clinked in the air. Dinner was served next. Grilled Greek Chicken Kabobs, Kofta Kabob, Basmati Rice, Pita Bread, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Santorini Salad were unveiled at the buffet as guests lined up. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Selena, during their planning process. Rave reviews were shared around each table as guests finished their meals, then it was time for dessert. The newlyweds cut into their 3-tiered red velvet wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in a slice before hitting the dance floor. The night ended with everyone showing off their best dance moves and sharing their well wishes with the bride and groom.
