Not every wedding needs 300 seats. Some couples want 40 people who actually matter, a really good meal, and a room with character.
The Estate on Second was built for that. Multiple spaces inside a 1923 Georgian Colonial — pick the one that fits your number, not the other way around.
The Attic handles the smallest gatherings. Hardwood floors, exposed brick, soft light through tall windows. Feels like a private dinner party in a building with a story.
The Crystal Ballroom scales up to 175 when you need it. The Terrace works for ceremonies overlooking downtown. The Veranda gives guests a quiet brick patio to step out to.No cavernous halls where 50 people rattle around. No minimums that force you to fill seats. Just the right room for the guest list you actually want.
Jay's Catering restored this building and runs the kitchen. Same team, same standards, whether you're hosting 20 or 175. Third generation, since 1967..

The Estate on Second may be a recent addition to Orange County’s hospitality scene, but its historic structure has been located in the heart of Santa Ana since 1923. What began as a building to house the Southern Counties Gas Company, has transitioned from office to restaurant and much more. Once we laid eyes on this historic, magnificent building, starting our own venue made perfect sense.
Over the years, exposed beams and worn brick have shaped the building’s resilient framework. Tiles and wood floors from a previous life mark the entryway that leads into a grand room full of arched, Palladian windows flooding the area with natural light.
Dark florals and romantic drapery decorated this Estate on Second wedding.
