The Estate on Second was built in 1923 and its charm still exists today. Worn brick, original beams, hardwood floors with a century of character, and tall windows on every floor that allow light to shift through the building - soft in the morning, dramatic by afternoon, golden before sunset. The venue’s Georgian Colonial architecture gives you texture and elegance in the same frame. The Crystal Ballroom offers grand scale and sparkling chandeliers. The Suite lends itself for moody, intimate shots. The speakeasy mimics a 1920s setting. The Veranda showcases brick exteriors and historic backgrounds. Step outside and you're in the arts district with murals, alleys, urban architecture within walking distance.
Editorial, commercial, fashion, brand campaigns, The Estate is unique in that is has multiple setups all at one location. Half-day and full-day rates are available and private venue access is guaranteed.
The Estate on Second is owned and operated by Jay’s Catering who handles food, beverage, and service entirely in-house if your crew needs it.

The Estate on Second may be a recent addition to Orange County’s hospitality scene, but its historic structure has been located in the heart of Santa Ana since 1923. What began as a building to house the Southern Counties Gas Company, has transitioned from office to restaurant and much more. Once we laid eyes on this historic, magnificent building, starting our own venue made perfect sense.
Over the years, exposed beams and worn brick have shaped the building’s resilient framework. Tiles and wood floors from a previous life mark the entryway that leads into a grand room full of arched, Palladian windows flooding the area with natural light.
Anna & Raymond celebrated their wedding at The Estate on Second with a traditional tea ceremony, speakeasy cocktails, golden hour portraits, and a vibrant floral reception.
