Winter Garden Themed Styled Shoot

If fall and winter weddings are your cup of tea, then you’re in for a special treat! Freckles and Fizz and Two Fourteen Photography, along with a talented list of partnering vendors, put together a beautiful styled shoot at The Estate on Second boasting bold gem tones and a romantic garden theme. With The Estate as their charming blank canvas, the team created lounge, ceremony, and reception vignettes in The Crystal Ballroom and Attic that complemented the venue’s beauty.

To match the gem tones of the styled shoot, the groom wore a plum tux with black lapel and bow tie. The bride wore a corset back, off-the-shoulder, lace gown and crown atop her head that made her look like a gorgeous princess. The two posed in front of The Estate’s Palladian windows where the ceremony floral installation was set. A half circle of deep red, pink, plum and peach flowers surrounded them and sparkling chandeliers were overhead. To add to the romance, an antique golden framed welcome sign made an appearance and was decorated with the same stunning flowers. The bride and groom moved between welcome sign and ceremony posing for photos, then moved to the lounge space.

Two emerald chairs were placed on either side of a deep red couch for the styled shoot lounge. A floral arrangement in the center of the golden coffee table tied the space together against The Estate’s exposed brick wall. The bride and groom fit right in on the couch and Two Fourteen Photography snapped away. Next to the lounge was something sweet. Three decorated cakes were put on display and later cut for styled cake photos. The floral frosting mimicked the flowers used throughout the shoot making the cakes almost too pretty to eat.

After executing all the shots downstairs, the team headed up to The Attic where a reception table was set. A dusty blue velvet linen was draped over the table and a teal feather table runner added to the decor. Gem-toned candlesticks were lit and flowers sprouted up around and on the table. White and gold plates, teal napkins, and emerald green glassware were paired together at each place setting and fruits like apples and pomegranates added to the rich, vibrant colors. Every detail was captured before wrapping the shoot and heading home.

A huge thank you to all the vendors listed below for transforming The Estate with your beautiful vision.
