Sarah + Aaron, The Estate on Second

After tying the knot at their church, Sarah and Aaron headed to The Estate on Second to continue the celebration with their guests. The bride and groom posed just outside the venue with their wedding party before heading inside. Each groomsman was dressed in black matching Aaron, and the bridesmaids wore emerald green. After group pictures, the newlywed’s headed upstairs for their romantics while everyone else headed into cocktail hour. Glazed Pear and Goat Cheese Tarts, BBQ Meatballs, and Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Franks were tray passed to hungry guests and the bar was serving up beer, wine, and the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Mojito and Old Fashioned. Everyone mixed and mingled and some even played games of cornhole outside until it was time for dinner. Sarah and Aaron came down from the Attic and guests made their way into the Crystal Ballroom for reception.

Tables were topped with greenery, white flowers and candles, and name cards helped guests find their assigned seats. Once everyone was seated, Sarah and Aaron made their grand entrance, and everyone cheered as live music filled the air. The couple shared their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table for toasts and dinner. Each table was excused to the buffet to fill their plates Sliced Beef Brisket, BBQ Pulled Pork, Garlic Herb Crusted Tri Tip, Mashed Potatoes, Warm Skillet Corn Bread, and Caesar Salad. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Casey, during their planning process. Toasts were next. Family and friends stood and shared their best memories of the bride and groom and everyone clinked champagne flutes after each speech ended. Once dinner was over, it was time for something sweet! Aaron and Sarah cut into their wedding cake and shared a bite, then invited their guests to indulge in a little dessert themselves. Our Italian Dessert Station with Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannolis, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes was unveiled. Guests with a sweet tooth made sure to stop by the dessert station before hitting the dance floor. The live band got the rest of the guests off their seats and dancing with the bride and groom. The evening ended with fun dance circles and many well wishes for the newlyweds.
