Noel + Chris, The Estate on Second

The Crystal Ballroom was set for an intimate ceremony. Candles decorated the chevron patterned floor and white and light pink roses covered a copper arbor centered in the middle of our Palladian window. Guests arrived and found their seats anxiously awaiting the bride and groom’s entrance. The officiant was first to walk out followed by Chris, then his and Noel’s bridesmaids and groomsmen. Everyone stood when Noel stepped out in her lace wedding gown that caught the light soaking in through the Estate windows just perfectly. Tears of joy filled her eyes when she saw her groom tearing up at the end of the aisle. The two were joined under the arbor in front of their closest family and friends where an emotional ceremony was about to take place. Noel and Chris wrote special personalized vows for each other and managed to cry and laugh their way through them while captivating the crowd with their love story. Rings were exchanged and the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife. Guests clapped and cheered while Noel and Chris sealed the deal with a kiss.

Crab Cakes and Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts were served alongside the newlyweds signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Skinny Margarita, while family took turns posing for photos with the bride and groom. A polaroid station was set up for the other guests to snap away and leave their picture as a memory for the happy couple to reminisce on later. After snacking and sipping, The Terrace was set for dinner. One long family-style table was draped in light grey linen and topped with tons of flickering candles. Greenery and roses twisted down the center of the table and fun word search placemats provided additional entertainment for the evening. Noel and Chris danced their way into the reception and showed off their moves in front of a light up “LOVE” sign before taking their seats at the sweetheart table. A plated dinner service selected by the bride and groom and our Event Specialist, Rachel, was served beginning with a course of Pear & Walnut Salad and concluding with an entree course of Chicken Sonoma, Filet Mignon, Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, and Grilled Green & White Asparagus with Heirloom Carrots. Toasts were made that brought tears to everyones eyes including the bride and groom and the cake was cut and shared before the evening came to a close.
