Lauren + Hunter, The Estate on Second

Lauren and Hunter met outside The Estate on Second for their first look after getting ready with their wedding party earlier that morning. Hunter stood in his white and black suit, his back facing Lauren in her lace wedding gown and cathedral veil. Without hesitation, Lauren tapped Hunter’s shoulder. When he turned around to see his beautiful wife standing before him, his jaw dropped to the floor in awe. They both exchanged loving compliments, then wandered around the venue with their bridal party for photos before the ceremony.

Guests arrived and took a seat in the Crystal Ballroom where the aisle and center Palladian window were decorated with gypsophila and white roses. Once everyone had arrived, Hunter made his entrance followed by the rest of the wedding party and ending with Lauren. At the head of the aisle in front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Tray passed Caprese Skewers and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts made their rounds during cocktail hour while the bar was shaking up drinks. Lauren and Hunter’s signature cocktails, a Paloma and Mississippi Mule, were popular picks as guests mingled. The bride and groom made an appearance towards the end of cocktail hour and made sure to thank each guest for coming, then invited everyone back into the Crystal Ballroom for dinner.

Candles of all sizes decorated the tops of each table and gold framed table numbers helped guests find their seats. Once everyone was seated, Lauren and Hunter made their grand entrance into their first dance, then sat at their sweetheart table. Friends and family shared toasts as each table was excused to the buffet to fill their plates with dinner. The menu of Chicken Pignoli, Penne Alla Checca, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Caesar Salad was chosen by Hunter and Lauren with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle. Guests raved about the food and clinked glasses in the air as each speech ended. Cake was cut and served for dessert, then everyone hit the dance floor. Conga lines, glows ticks and dance circles kept the energy up throughout the night, which also made guests work up an appetite. As a surprise, the bride and groom added a late night snack of Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas and Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls. Guests were thrilled when the snacks arrived and fueled up before heading out for the night. Everyone brought their glow sticks outside and waved them in the air to send off the bride and groom.
