Kelly + Ruben, The Estate on Second

Kelly and Ruben met in The Attic at The Estate on Second for their first look. Ruben stood gazing out the Estate windows while Kelly approached him from behind in a beautiful lace wedding gown. With a brush of the back, Ruben turned around with a huge smile on his face to see his soon to be wife. The two instantly shared a warm embrace and exchanged loving words before they were met by their bridesmaids and groomsmen to snap group photos before the ceremony. The groomsmen matched Ruben dressed in black suits, black ties, and yellow boutonnieres. The bridesmaids were also dressed in black, making Kelly really stand out from the crowd. Before long, the group was lining up downstairs in the Crystal Ballroom for their ceremony entrances.

The Crystal Ballroom was decorated in bright yellow florals, vines, and greenery on either side of the center Palladian window, framing it in perfectly for Kelly and Ruben. Guests took a seat and music cued up as Ruben made his walk down the aisle. Kelly was last to make an appearance, arm in arm with her father. A sweet exchange of the bride was performed at the head of the aisle before everyone was seated for vows. The bride and groom recited traditional vows in front of family and friends, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss. Cheerfully, the newlyweds exited their wedding ceremony and entered our new Speakeasy room where cocktail hour was held. Guests snacked on Caprese Skewers and Gorgonzola & Caramelized Onion Bruschetta while sipping on beer and wine from the bar. Kelly and Ruben made their rounds thanking guests for attending their special day and snuck some couple photos outside before dinner.

Everyone made their way back into the Crystal Ballroom for the dinner reception. Tables were draped in ivory linen and vases filled with sunflowers acted as centerpieces. The head table was decorated with baby’s breath and dainty vines that twisted and twirled the entire length of the table. Kelly and Ruben shared their first dance under sparkling chandeliers before taking their seat at the head table for dinner. The bride and groom pre-selected an Italian-inspired menu for the evening with the help of our Event Specialist, Brittany, during the planning process. Mixed Green Salad, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, Italian Lasagna, and Penne Alfredo was served and not a bite was spared. Glasses clinked as toasts were shared to celebrate the newlyweds to end the evening.
