Elliot + Liz, The Estate on Second

Liz changed into her lace and tulle wedding gown inside The Suite at The Estate on Second then headed upstairs for her first look with Elliot. Dressed in a grey suit with peach tie and matching boutonniere, Elliot waited for his bride with his back facing the stairway. He could hear each step getting closer and closer until he felt a tap on the shoulder. Elliot turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Smiles filled both their faces and compliments were exchanged, then the two joined their wedding party for group photos around the venue. The bridesmaids wore different dresses within the same theme – yellows, oranges, solids and florals, and the groomsmen wore navy. Together they posed in front of the famous fountain, then headed inside for cocktail hour.

Guests dropped off their gifts at the door, then headed into The Estate to kick-off Liz and Elliot’s wedding with cocktail hour. Cocktail tables were draped in white linen and topped with floral-filled bud vases. Crab Cakes and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed and guests sipped on lemonade and water. Elliot and Liz finished up their couple photos outside and joined their guests inside the Crystal Ballroom for their vows and reception.

The Crystal Ballroom housed a small number of tables to fit the intimate guest count. Bright florals added pops of color as centerpieces atop each table and sparkling chandeliers hung above. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss. Everyone cheered for the newlyweds, then dinner was served. Different food stations were sprinkled around the ballroom. A Bruschetta Station with chopped tomato pomodoro, olive tapenade, sundried tomato cream cheese, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, gorgonzola crumbles, and balsamic reduction with parmesan crostinis, A Black Bean and Sweet Potato Enchilada Station with sour cream and salsa, Slider Station with Kalua Pulled Pork and Smoked Beef Brisket, and Grilled Flatbread Station with Mushroom and Prosciutto Pizza and Grilled Marinated Vegetable Pizza. Safe to say, everyone had many delicious dinner options to choose from! The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle. Toasts were shared while everyone ate dinner and glasses of sparkling cider clinked in the air when a speech ended. To conclude the celebratory evening, our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes was unveiled. Guests enjoyed a sweet treat, gave their best wishes to Liz and Elliot, then headed home.
